The Sheffield Bioinformatics Core are pleased to announce that we have just opened registration for the next Northern Bioinformatics User Group (NorthernBUG) meeting on March 25 2024, which will take place in Sheffield. This is a free meeting aimed at those practicing Bioinformatics or Data Science or those wanting to learn more about the application of data analytics techniques to the life sciences. Submission for a talk or poster are welcome. Please sign up using our registration form.

Requests for a Bioinformatics support clinic can be made via the Research Software Engineering (RSE) code clinic system. This is monitored by Bioinformatics Core staff, so we will ensure the appropriate expertise (which may involve individuals from multiple teams) will be available to help you

Queries regarding sequencing and library preparation provision at The University of Sheffield should be directed to the Multi-omics facility in SITraN or the Genomics Laboratory in Biosciences.
